I was thrilled to have the opportunity to work with a long-lost friend on a logo for his new website,
outrightawesome.com, which is currently under construction. He is a purveyor of all things nerdy, so the logo needed to bring to mind nerd culture, especially sci-fi and comic books. This design was inspired by the Avengers emblem, because I liked that the arrow points out to the right, a nice play on words. It also is reminiscent of the Star Trek insignia, though not as obviously. Roy and I met on a Harry Potter cruise about ten years ago, and he became semi-famous awhile back for selling a rare Dracula action figure
for over $20,000 on eBay!
